I did not know for a long time that cats prefer running water and hate drinking from a bowl. In my first marriage we had 3 cats. They all loved laying in the bathroom sinks. We had 2 in the main bathroom and one in the second bathroom. Sometimes all 3 would have a cat in them

So far Tori hasn't tried drinking from the faucet but my cat, Salem, drinks from the faucet. My previous cats, Woolie Bear, Gus T. Kitty, and Kira Kitty, all drank from the faucet.

Even with a fresh bowl of water in the bathroom I've seen both Tori and Salem drink from the toilet.

I can't brush my teeth without my cat Houdini sticking his head under the faucet for a drink.
