I personally wasn’t even wanting these because it’s another job for me

But our mallard hen has been determined to raise some ducklings. We have already lost 2 mommas to this, they try to stay out over night and get eaten .

this batch is the last bunch we have saved. The only one to hatch though so far is from our Cayuga/mallard pair. Can see in the pic she ain’t too sure .
