As a general rule we don’t let our pets in the house and that’s how I prefer it but I see that rule slowly fading

That is how it was as a kid growing up on a farm. We didn't have 'pets', just tools that we had to feed occasionally. Cats that lived in the barn and kept mice out of the feed. Dogs that, well, killed any critter that came on the property. Times have changed and now I have to kill all the critters while my dog naps in my recliner.

My cat seems broken again. This thing loves water. Actually puts his foot in the water bowl and licks the water off....then flicks the rest around the kitchen.
