So my Rival MT10 took a bit of a bashing, and I'm pretty sure I destroyed my servo. The wheels will turn, when upside down, but when running the truck, the turn radius is not correct. And when I try to use the "trim", it doesn't want to turn one way.

Have you looked over all your linkages for signs of damage? Nothing bent?
Is anything binding when you remove the servo saver and turn the wheels from left to right?
Check the steering when the shocks are compressed too.
Double check that the servo saver is not damaged or stripped out.
Its not the end of the world if you killed your rtr servo. Almost everyone does and sometimes its pretty quickly too!
Figure out what is wrong for certain and then get to shopping! There are WAY better servos out there!
This might turn into a 'forced' upgrade but its a GOOD upgrade too! 👍😁

I not sure I know enough about the truck to get a proper diagnosis, but I will be taking some things apart this weekend, to get a good look.

Ok. So while you are here, poke around a bit. Look at ppls threads on the forum.
I remember someone else having a binding issue with the front of this truck, can't say who tho.
Maybe @PainKiller ?
As far as 'knowing the truck"... This IS the perfect time to get aquainted!
Visual inspection and comparing one side to the other will tell you a lot.

If you have a servo saver check that too. I used to go through those every so often.

Could be anything in that system.
Servo
Servo Horn
Servo Saver
Linkage
Linkage connection points
Start at the bottom of the list.
  1. The linkage and connection points are easy to diagnose. Look for loose or broken parts. Wiggle them and see if anything moves that shouldn't move.
  2. Make sure you servo saver is tight enough and not broken.
  3. Pull the servo horn. Look for damage on the horn and the servo.
  4. Try the servo without the horn and see if shaft turns smoothly.

No binding issues over here.
