Sensored esc/ motor

Hello noob here I’m building a Tamiya to-02 rr chassis or I will be once I figure this out. I’ve decided I want a sensored brushless motor around 10 to 14 t I think.... what esc and motor combo would you guys recommend I’m getting confused looking any help would be appreciated

If you are looking for 10 to 14T, you are limited to 10.5 or 13.5, and any of the name brands, like Hobby Wing, Team Orion, Yokomo, and Maclan are good choices. The cheapest of those are from Hobby Wing, which start right around $100 US. For a slightly cheaper alternative, there is this one: https://www.amazon.com/SkyRC-Cheetah-3250KV-Sensored-Brushless/dp/B00Q37VRP6 but, personally i have never heard of that brand. You usually can't go wrong with Hobby Wing though.

i would recommend spending the extra few bucks and getting Hobbywing, at least the ESC, ESC failures can be quite catastrophic so having that higher quality one is a good piece of mind.

I personally haven't ran those, I have the Hobbywing max10 3300kv currently and is performing very well imo.

If you don't mind having just the basic timing adjustability, and don't use high voltage servos, the Quicrun 10BL120 ESC is a solid performer. I've been running one for the past year in my off-road stadium truck, and very happy with it. That G3 motor will do the trick IMO.
