ESC PROBLEMS ??

I have had my and my sons ftx ramraiders for two months and mine is fine but my sons has just stopped and just makes a weird chuck chuck chuck !!! noise when I try to accelerate and the red light flashes with every noise , the motor trys to turn but won't drive, all of the drivetrain is free and moves as it should with no restrictions ? I put my charged battery on it but that was no help either.

Hey there, sorry to hear about your troubles.

Since you happen to have multiple of the same truck that helps a lot with testing.

My gut tells me it's the motor.
Try removing the ESC from the suspect truck and connect to the one you know works.

If that truck works fine then you know the ESC is fine. If it doesn't then you know the ESC is bad.
