SC10 2WD RTR or Slash?

I just got back from a big race of 171 entries.
two of the classes were sc the stock class was half slash half sc10 and a slash tq'ed.
Both trucks looked pretty equal today.
too bad there were no strikes or blitzes I want to see them run.
BTW motors allowed were sc kit , 27 , or 17.5

I missed the first ECT round but will be hitting all the others. I've been looking at the SC10 or Blitz myself but I still love my 2 Slash's. Right now I'm leaning towards the Blitz but time will tell.

Z, do you know offhand if the Stock SCT required the rtr tires or could you use pro-line beadlock 2.2/3.0's? I'm running 17.5BL and meet everything else for Stock but if I have to swap back to rtr tires... well, I may just have to take the Novak 7.5 from my drifter and put it in the 2nd Slash and run both Mod & stock. The 17.5BL probably won't keep up with the mod motors people are running.

2 wheel drive
Any Brushed RTR motor or 27 single brushed motor.
17.5 brushless legal
Any Kit 1/10th scale SCT tire. (can be interchanged)
Minumum Weight 74 ounces
Battery limited to 6 cell Sub C or 2s lipo

You'll have to use those pro-lines for mod.
And the 7.5 would help keep the lap times lower in mod.
If you don't over drive it.
