AE shocks on a 2wd Slash?

I use the shocks off the Losi Tenacity on my Rustler https://ebay.us/m/aJIhbq

All I ever did with the stock shocks was bend shafts but only on the Stampede and only on the rear.

Don't buy Hot Racing shocks they are terrible like all of the cheap Chinese shocks, they leak, the shafts bend because they are stainless steel and the included springs along with their variable rate spring kit were either too soft or too stiff.
Fronts are 85mm eye to eye and the rears are 100mm eye to eye. Stock springs are a little on the stiff side for a 2wd vehicle but they work for how I drive. But Losi and Associated have a nice selection of springs that work on them.
Outstanding price for a set of shocks that (I assume) work great. I got a stadium truck build I'm doing, but couldn't bring myself to using Losi shocks on an Associated platform... or could I? 🤣

Oh yeah better price than Jennys as he includes the standoffs, if you want the stand offs from Jennys you have to buy the shock towers. For the cost I have been extremely happy with them I've had them on my Rustler for like 3 years now and all I've managed to do to them is break a rod end.

Well then you probably don't want to see Razorrc's LCG 2wd Stampede build then 🤣 Losi 22t 2.0 kitted shocks with Associated springs. He actually used a number of Associated parts in that build.

Well... there are no external markings to identify them, so.... :naughty:
Well, crap. Now you tell me 🤣

I couldn't let my Losi fanboy buddy have the upper hand in knowing I found out there is life outside of Associated. I actually wanted to use Tekno's shocks on my stadium truck build, but Jenny's was sold out.

I had never ending issues with the C clips coming off on the top of the shock shafts. My advice is to fork up a bit more and get something different. AE, Proline, GTR.
Worn out clips inside of worn-out grooves? Yes, no doubt about it, they (e-clips) are a pain to get off shock shafts. I'm probably going to jinx myself saying this, but... I can only remember one time, in many decades, where I had an e-clip come off while in use. This day and age, I was blown away to still see e-clips being used as a "luxury" item by those XRAY dudes :p 😆...

If they work, they work. 🫤

Watch it. One of those replacement e clips probably from Hudy prob gonna cost 50 bucks in the future 😆 🫠 🤣
Super luxury! Not so innovation... Lol.
Like why not use a lock nut or a grub screw with loctite? 🤷‍♂️🤔
