My son made two more videos. One of a speed run with his stock Talion and one with a brushed Bandit.

This all started last year when my son wanted to purchase a hobby grade RC car. He saved all his money and purchased a Traxxas Slash and I purchased a bottom of the line XL5 2WD Rustler so he had someone to run with. Well, we couldn't leave things well enough alone or stock and so many modifications later we have built what I call a Frankenstein Bandit/Rustler, a tricked out 4x4 Rustler, an ultimate 2WD Rustler (formerly that XL5 and still under contruction) and now today a Nitro Rustler converted into an electric 6s mid engine monster Rustler. My 11 year old son is having a blast learning how to use his hands and learning about cars in general. Enjoy the pictures.

More to come.

Looks like a sweet mod, that thing will be fast.

It is thank you. By doing the math with the current gearing it should be capable of well over 100 mph, however, we alway ran out of road before we could get it up to speed, and if I mash the throttle it goes out of control because its so powerful. Best we got last year was around 75 mph and then it lost control and ran out of road. My son has lost interest in RC this year but if he ever gets the itch we will probably have to drive behind it with a real car and controller in hand on a super smooth road to realize its full potential.
