I just got my RS4 EVO and I've gotta say that the manual sucks. Its got more pictures than words. How exactly do I start the car with the roto start? Do I just lock the glo-igniter into place, and hit the button on the roto start? Also, is it possible to start the car with the body on? Theres a hole for the glo-igniter, but it seems the body has to be removed for the roto starter. One more thing, how exactly do you insert the roto-starter shaft into the engine, considering the rear axles/shocks are in the way? The only way I see is if you stick it in at an angle.

hey I have the same question...I guess it has to be tilted for some reason...weird, but it should work right???
thanks

i have an evo and this all was a question to me the first day i had it too you do have to stick the roto start thing in at an angle and it will take the color away from your shocks and the rest of the stuff there yup you just lock the glo driver in then hit the button until it starts it may take a bit more than just one little touch of the button if its the first start....i know that now as soon as i touch the button with the roto start in the car starts just make sure the roto start is in the right way and that your glow driver is charged

I havent even started mine yet!!! hell its barely out of the box...:) I am still considering a 1/8th scale rtr buggy instead, but I am not sure yet... maybe a team pcr ofna or a violator...just not sure if offroad is for me anymore...:) we will see as all I have invested and not even used yet...ie: pipe, venom failsafe etc...:)

its really not the end of the world... it can be worked around... hmmm I wonder if I should even start with all this, or go get a buggy:)

number76, if you decide to keep the RS4 let me know how the venom works out. I was considering getting one myself but the LHS only had OFNA, so I went with that one.

be verry careful of what you do as i wanted to return mine but the hobby shop guy said i couldnt even if i wanted to because i ran fuel through the engine LOL i though the car was dead but it was really a dead glo driver what an idiot i can be LOL

I don't think I am returning anything... I will run it after all I have bought etc... the only consideration might be for a brand new RTR ofna violator or pcr team edition buggy, but I doubt I will do that and go ahead and stick with what I have..:)

I will let you know about the failsafe, but I have heard they rock...
