Hey all,
So I've got a mini z evo2 chassis. My first ever mini drift rc. I want to bench test it, just to make sure it's all good. I bought the below receiver chip to run it with my flysky gt3b so I didn't have yet another transmitter. The entire reason I bought the evo2 kit.

I can't seem to figure out how to get this chip to bind with the GT3B. Even with the receiver instructions.

Am I missing something? Additional cable? Or does this really not work going from evo2 to gt3b?

Pic of it installed.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks all!

I'm not exactly sure but their docs are weak.

This guy powers up the car and it's in bind mode, then powers up the transmitter.

I'm assuming (big assumption) that the button is the bind button and if you hold that and power it up, the RX will be in bind mode?

If nothing else you can reach out to MXO and ask them.

Yea. I watched that vid, it doesn't work for me. The guy nodded his gt3c too.

I held the rx button down and powered it on., get the red blinking light.
Then held bind on the TX and powered on. No evidence the tx is in bind mode. I've only tried to bind with my GT3B using the bind connector, but that method won't work on this tiny car.

Well I have no clue what did. But it got it to work!
Crisis averted 😆
Some protocols are twitchy when it comes to distance the Tx is from the Rx, especially when binding. Sonetimes you have to have the Rx a couple to a few feet away. Maybe that's all it was.
