That's the jizz they put out back in '07.

Here it is 4 years later and we got squat.

I admit the VRC Pro looks nice even though it's restricted to on-road. I like the addition of indoor carpet and electric racing.
But the lack of off road still makes it a suck. I'm amazed at how painfully slowly this development team creates the software. I mean this is painfully slow. They should turn it over to someone with the chops to do it. Like Turn 10 (who makes Forza for Xbox) or someone like that. Waiting 4 years just for an on-road upgrade? That's lame.

And I won't be racing any time soon. My desktop is so outdated that it really can't run the VRC software well enough any more. Hopefully when I get a new PC I can get back in. But for now I have to sit out.

Agreed Jeff. This company obviously does not have the means to tackle this in any efficient manner. They could have gotten a lot of help from the video game folks.

This was posted on their facebook on the 7th of October....

As you know, we have started VRC Pro with what we knew best: on-road cars, but off-road is now in the works. We have already done a couple of tracks and one 8-scale nitro buggy, and are now modeling a short course truck. The current physics will support the off-road cars no problem, but we still have to put a lot of development and testing hours in the tires though, they are critical to achieve a realistic feel to your car. We probably come out with the short course truch first as that seems to be the most popular class atm.

PLEASE HURRY THE FUNK UP!!!!!

Is anyone still racing, i tried the demo and liked it quite a bit, but i don't wanna get into it if there's no one to race with, i suppose i would have to buy the disc to race online? Let me know what i need to do, if you guys are still racing i would like to join in.

You dont race heads up by the way. If we were still racing, you just run and see who has the most laps and fastest times at the end but you never actually race against any of us.

Has any of you used a Flysky FS-GT3B on the virtual site? I tried and there is no option but to select a generic controller and that doesn't work. I also have a couple of Traxxas controllers but I don't know if I have an adapter to plug them into the USB.

WHAT!?!? I will be getting it.

I'll believe it when I see it. LOL

If off-road does indeed gets released then you can bet we will have scheduled events once again.

That will be awesome. I had fun before, but just couldnt ever get very dialed in. Wont mess around with a crappy setup this time, I'll just run my every day radio instead of a tq2.
