Anyone racing in VRC these days? I've started up a RCT Race club on it, so anyone that races there can join on that. (http://vrcworld.com/clubs/eventman.aspx?club=2895) Not sure if/when we'll be able to put together a race but good to at least get the ball rolling. Unfortunately to be fast you pretty much need to buy the adapter thing to hook up your RC Remote to the PC you're playing on. That can be like $50......

The sim itself seems to be really good, minus the fact that there are no TLR, Traxxas, or Arrma products and the newest models are from 2011. But regardless it's easily the best sim out there. Excited to get to try it out with a real controller and a bigger screen.

Just got done installing it and was practicing for about an hour.
Noting that the NB4 does work with it with the supplied USB to USB c cable and it actually helps you. Makes you faster and more consistent than the key board.
Will dive deeper into it tomorrow.
Gotta find how to hook up @luke66 's 4gs to it. Heard that the DSC port to USB like flysky has works with Dumbo but heard it doesn't work with radiolink. Already posted a post in radiolink's FB group (yes I know they approved me access that's odd.... Lol) and vrc official group.

If I get my PC (from 2000) running, I might try to join. I've seen VRC before.

I run Windows 11 on newer lenovo ideapad. Currently 2gb AMD graphics card, and 16gb ram. I have a 1TB harddrive in here, the game only needs like 3 so if you have a modern PC/Laptop newer than lets say 2018. At least an I5 processor in Intel terms, and 4GBs of RAM you should be good.
Mine runs SUPER smooth.
Would be nice if they can put VRC on consoles like Xbox or Playstation but its a bit outdated of a game plus having to pay to gain full access of the game is... Ehh.

That's gonna be a tough one, but I've got a PC running Windows 7 playing VRC okay, so it might work. Don't think VRC works with Mac though.
Mine runs Windows 2000 (well, it will be. I need it set up) and has 128MB of SDRAM memory!
lol
It has a 60GB ultra DMA hard drive, but I don't really know what that is.

Yea it probably won't run that smoothly bc of that old school ram lol. Plus old school graphics card too. Worth a try but if it does say an error has occurred or something, most likely do to old school electronics bc they can't handle a newer game.

I remember back a while back like 7 years ago or so I tried to download Forza horizon 3 demo version on my Dads dell laptop and it just crashed because it couldn't handle it. Lol.

i think i have VRC on my laptop, or maybe its the old PC that wont turn on anymore... idk, don't remember. my SC10 came with a code so i could drive an SC10 or SC104x4 i don't remember. i fiddled around with it off and on but driving with the keyboard was impossible.

Yea they have a SC10 4x4 belt drive in VRC. Pretty good handing and fast truck, unlike yours 😅
I figured out keyboard was impossible to use like 5 minutes in of playing. That's why they don't recommend it.
