I technically could.
Would have to redownload the stream software I used in the past, I forgot what its called, and I could either stream to my YT or Twitch, but I'm not sure how my laptop would handle trying to run the same smoothly, screen record, stream software and upload that stream to the web. Ideally need a true gaming PC/setup to do that because that's what most streamers use/do.

Technically, my laptop could work, I streamed playing Forza from my Xbox before, but that was streaming from Twitch from my xbox, screen recording my twitch stream on my laptop, using the software to stream on youtube at the same time. (So with that setup I wasn't playing the same game on the same device therefore my laptop could've handled that)

My brain just quit working. The stuff I know about machining is 32 years of knowledge & quite extensive. You lost me at I technically could. I've designed Xbuild post processing programs for posting TXT programs for CAM & it's hard. Dude, that Lost me.

Now you got a calculator on your phone ;) 😆

Teachers in the 90s: You won't have a calculator in your pocket in the real world...
Neighbor girl at about age 12 told her mom she shouldn't have to go to school 'cuz if she needed to know something she could just Google it! 🤪

Apparently this is an option for Spektrum radios and they even have it in stock at my Hobbytown.

After a little bit of googling and research, I guess it's impossible to find dongles these days because the transmitter manufacturers have taken over responsibility of creating ways to connect their radios to PCs via USB.

Things I didn't know that make me feel like an RC grandpa....

Now...is it worth $60? :meh:

Pulling up an old thread, but not THAT old.

I just received my new FlySky FS-G7P and I was a little bummed that even through ReVolt recognized it as a controller, it wouldn't allow it to be used. Oh well. Just plugs into a PC with a USB-C cord and it's on. Probably something to do with ReVolt being something like 20 years old and Windows 10 being a completely different OS, which requires Steam as a compatibility buffering platform in order to even run.

Then I found VRC on Steam and decided to give it a try. I installed and loaded it up, first with a 1/8 Nitro Buggy (like my Mugen) and ran the Long Bash course.

Oh. My. Gawd. Do I suck at this game. I can't keep the car on the track, and any attempt for small application of throttle and steering has me all over the place. Same thing happened when I switched over to 1/10 Nitro GP cars. I'm sure a lot has to do with radio and car set-up, and I haven't quite cracked the code on that yet. Suffice it to say, I have a feeling I'll do a LOT better when I put my real car(s) down on the track(s), since I had no issues driving my on-road cars competitively (among friends) in 10-foot lanes between varying lane boundaries (garden hoses, plow discs, rain gutters, parking islands, et al).

What about you guys who are having 'fun' (and success) with the game: is it just like driving your real cars, or is there some level of separation difference that must be overcome?**

** I can draw very well using real drawing pads, pencils, inks, et al, but using a tablet or electronic pad that's not the actual screen - I struggle. It's that instant feedback that's missing with the electronic pads that messes with me. It's hard to explain.
