Is the series over now?

Winter series is over.

Did I take 3rd in any? :D

You backed your way into 3rd for the Winter Series.

There will be a weekly race just for fun for the time being. Races will be less than 16 minutes. Some will be without AI's just to see who has command of a given track without distractions of an AI.

I gotta get a radio again. I through the one I was using in with my slash to make it rtr.

Sure will.

Simple as rewinding the tape and pressing play if ya know what I mean.

I want to offer a prize, but want everyone involved to have a chance to win it.

Randy suggested it at some point and I agree. The best way is to have a random drawing of everyone who makes a showing at every single race.

We will be visiting every track twice for the series for a total of 24 races.

If anybody is wondering what I am thinking for a prize I have a hint. It's bovine related.

I realize stuff happens that's beyond a racers control and there are also family vacations to consider.

One option I have is instead of using the throwout method, I was thinking of giving each racer 2 make up races. If you miss a race for any reason, you will be allowed to make the race up so that you are still eligible for the drawing.

Another option is to give 2 weeks to complete each event. I would start the first race and after 1 week, start the second race and so on. This way the series will only last 25 weeks.

Any thoughts or comments?

Here's a coupe of deals on eBay if you want the disc.

Buy it Now

Auction

Or I believe you can just download it from their site.

For a USB adapter it depends on your radio. The older one works for most radios but some newer 2.4 ghz radios require the VRCNT-3 adapter. They were $20 and $35 repectively from the VRC site HERE Or the game and adapter for $55 from the site. I shopped around eBay and ended up with both for under $40

Most of the tracks are free with the game. When you buy the game license you should get 3 track credits and can pick up the other tracks we use.

Don't think I will be able to run again today. My left arm is battle damaged from helping to move a hot tub today. Those suckas are a little heavy and there is nothing to grab onto. LOL

As you can see by the activity in this thread interest is just about dead. Even I'm still burnt out on it.

I never got any better the entire time I played, so just doesn't do it for me now...dont have a radio at the moment for it either....
