I guess I should put in a run too. I put all my focus into RCS this week so I'm not expecting much out of Heemstede.

Well, after some t.v. and a shower I thought I'd throw down another Heemstede seeing as how the first one was more like practice since I'm just using my old 96% grip setup.
I don't understand why everybody seems to dispise (sp?) this racetrack. I think it's a really fun track, quite similar to Oslo is many ways.

I wasn't going to run again,but I don't have anything to lose so I'll be taking a shot at you later. BTW,I like this track except the pit entrance.

I actually really like the entrance here. I don't really find it that difficult. It's difficult to push it too much because it's so tight. Quite the opposite at say RCS where it's long and straight and you feel like you can make up a lot of time and you fly in there really fast.
AI: Since Rob is compiling info I'll give my take per race. I think the level was pretty good here. Could possibly be a tick faster but it definitely was a challenge to get by the cars cleanly. I ran up on a pack of 5 like 4 or 5 laps into the race and I took my time getting by them, one at a time. I think it took me 3 laps to get by the fleet but I managed not to go off or wreck anybody so I was fortunate.

Well, my strategy worked out pretty well. I knew I was off the pace at RCS so I pretty much focused 100% on getting up to to the speeds you guys are running there. I knew I had a setup problem there that I needed to figure out.

I'm not that good at this weeks track (lux) but I sure like it alot, its a fun track imo.

I really like the having to pass the slower AI's on the road courses. Puts your driving skills to the test. It does not take any skill to slow up in order to let faster AI's pass you.
I will admit that I hacked a couple of the AI's to get them out of the way on Heemstede. It actually brought a smile to my face. I noticed that if you have the inside line in the turns, they would actually go wide to avoid you. It was very noticeable coming out of the turns.
Nice job on the wins Josh. The only way I was going to run again on Heemstede was if Randy bumped me down to 3rd. When he didn't, I went to bed.
Impressive fast lap on Oval Bill. Work on the consistency and you will start finding yourself on the podium.

Hahaha, podium! Good one! That fast lap was a fluke, and I honestly thought somebody would have beat it.

Hell yeah bro! That fast lap is QUITE IMPRESSIVE. :thumbup::thumbup:
Lux is a nice big track to run on. The only place things can go wrong is coming off the straight leading down to the S/F line. Come in too hot and you will be over steering to get through. Time it right and it's almost a straight line down. That is where I believe the fast laps are either made or flushed in the toilet.
Grips are at 88% this week.
Next week they drop to 80% which will be interesting.
As a reminder, next weeks races will run for 2 weeks due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We will get 5 runs instead of 3 as a result.

Made my first Lux run, messed up several times but no biggy, I'll get another one in tomorrow or thursday probably. I love that track alot, its real fun.

Well there went my "every race finish". I dnf'd my 2nd run on Lux, changed one thing then started my 3rd and final and had only done like 8 laps and the power went off. I'm pissed, Id gladly take last every race at this point since its been a fun season but to lose it all because of the damn power just sucks ass.
