I downloaded the demo, and btw, I suck at it. But part of my problem is that I can't get the Z-axis (steering) to calibrate right. It comes out really twitchy, so I can't run a straight line.
Which USB adapter did you get?

Listen here wiseasses, you may want to refresh yourself on the rules, as both the avatar and sig sizes have been increased. Robnob, you are on the staff and have no excuse....so, now who has been :bowned:

In MY RCNT under signature it says:

WOO HOO, my disk and usb adapter showed up today!!!! I ran a few practice laps offline and I'm pretty sure I'm going to hold down last place with no problem.

Nevermind, can't do it. I don't know if it's the cord, the pc, or the remote, but I can't get rid of the twitch. I can calibrate it to zero by using the Windows calibration, and the trim knobs, but as soon as I try to drive, it starts twitching and if I try to trim it out, it'll just go the other way. The only way I can keep it in a straight line is to turn the steering all the way down, but then I can't turn at all.

You are both confirmed to the club and are free to run in the events.
It's just practice right now. 2 events end on Sunday evening and 2 more will start for next week right after wards.
You get 3 attempts per event and your last good attempt is what will count.

When does it officially start?
When I was practicing off line I could choose a few different views but when I went online I had to use the view from the drivers stand...Am I missing something are is that the only view available while running online?
Drivers stand only when online. I suggest you only use the stand while offline as well so it does not mess you up.

This link will be the reason I try to compete.....I have never owned are messed with on road rc's so I was completely lost on where to even start! I was practicing on the Sydney track and literally couldn't get around the track until I referred to this link, I printed it out and went through some adjustments, now I can make it around a couple of times without going off road, I knocked 10 seconds off of my lap time! I still plan on holding down last place but at least I will make it around the track.
