How long into the run are you when it starts? If you're making long runs on the Speedway, the tire wear is uneven and the right side tires wear faster. Eventually you end up with reverse stagger (outside tires smaller than inside) and that starts pulling the car to the right....
Just pull up the track that you're running and there will be a few setups uploaded by other racers. Just click on the setup. download it and put it in your VRC setup folder. Then you can access it from in-game and see what you think.
Glad you're gonna race with us Joe!

Boy, this is going to be embarassing,
I was just practicing with cars on the track for the first time, TOTALLY different than running solo.

It's not really, you just have to ignore them. The speeds of the AI cars are setup to challenge the faster guys. I think they are actually set too fast by a hair but I can adjust that the next road race. If you just let them go by you'll save yourself a lot of headache. Of course that's easier said than done if you're new.![]()

Ignore them, hahahaha, that's funny! I find myself thinking, oh no you don't, you aint getting by me.
And how come if we make contact I crash and they don't, not cool, lol.
Now, another noob question, will I be able to run the exact same car with the same set up I have been practicing with in the race?
