i have a buggy with an axial .28rr and the gold needle fell of so i put some silicone since its the second time it falls off so when i went to drive it it just stays on for 5 seconds i bought a new plug i gave it a race tune i also turned up the idle but it still shuts down can anyone tell me the problem ,does it need that golden needle to run

Yeah. The needle needs to be there! That's one of your tuning needles. Without it...you are running full rich all the time...and the engine might run...but will run like garbage. There should be threads on the needle...and an o-ring or 2 around it that hold it in place. Replace the needle immediately...and figure out why it won't stay in place properly.

:-)

Theres always some form of a friction retainer to keep it from backing out something is missing get a exploded view of your engine and see whats missing.

I told you get a exploded view of the engine and see if anything is missing thats the only way you will know what is going on .:D
