Anything is good to start out with... as long as parts are available if something breaks.

You'll learn a lot about what you need to be competitive just getting it out there and running it.

I asking if that is good setup to start out with since I own the b6.3 buggy
Oh I see now. Was kinda set up like a sell. Sorry about that! I would say a b6 is a great starter buggy! I have an RB10 that is slowly becoming more like a B5 or B6 kinda situation, pretty much having anything is a good start to racing. What is your track like that you'll be running it at?

I was thinking if getting a RB10 but I did not think it would be good enough for carrpet racing if 21.5 buggy or other 2wd buggy classes

Yea a lot of people say the RB10 isnt great for track use, but I got one when it was pretty new and not many tested it. I see the potential in it and similarities to the B5 and B6. Many parts can carry over to the RB10 from those cars with a little adjustment. Stock tires suck, but you can run almost anything on it. I have TLR rims on the rear.

You made a great choice by not trying to make a RB10 something it's not. ;) :thumbs-up:

Just practice clean laps, and tune the buggy for your driving style.

If you're running on carpet, you might want to see if sway bars are available for it. I know the make them for the b6.4, not sure about the b6.3.
