Yeah, I know the buggy has been out for a while now. I just wanted to start this thread for any questions, tip, tricks, or general discussion on the buggy.

They’ve had so many now that I couldn’t tell ya at this point… 😅

I’ve been running VRP’s exclusively as well..
I found a picture of Tekno's updated "B" piston underside. The old pistons that came in the kits had a smaller recessed area for a smaller support washer.

That larger washer and proximity to the holes pretty much sums it up for me... I have a running change kit. :thumbs-up:

Yeah, the counterbore is much larger than the previous run’s that I have on hand. I agree-you have the most current.. (for now 😅🤷🏻‍♂️)

Yep, as soon as I get the buggy done, the 2.3 will be out.

I'm now almost positive a composite change was done on the 2.2 pistons 🤔 because of the color... new pistons are white compared to undyed Delrin material used in earlier platforms. I'm still running stock Delrin pistons on my EB48 2.0 and they don't use any washer for support.

Where To Start?

Without knowing anything about someone's conditions/racing situation... I almost always will say, "Start with the box stock setup."

For my situation, I don't race anymore, and my backyard track is very bumpy/rough. I'm always softening the suspension and going lighter in the diff fluids compared to what's recommended in manuals. This is pretty much a guarantee of what goes down with all my rides. It also helps having tested setups on earlier models to go by... knowing what works.

I'm not used to working with 4-holes  so... I'm just testing... I gotta get it out of my system. Don't do what I'm doing 🤔 😆

No chance of a “2.3” any time soon.. Tekno, not Associated. 🤷🏻‍♂️😅

I’m about ready to kick the 100+yr shock tech in favor of the SOTA arrangement.. And I’m sure I’ll never look back after I do.. 😜
They'd be right up my alley, but my needs are not ready for that next level buy in. Old school still works. :):thumbs-up:
