Yeah, I got banned from there in the early 2000's for a similar reason it doesn't help that the T-Maxx *in my opinion* is a poorly engineered truck *I have 3 of them still in my dads basement* and that was one of their most popular models back then. Of course in those days there was millions of aftermarket parts and manufacturers around

why do you have 3 of you know they suck?

Becaussseeee my first one was an S-maxx, so when it broke I would get upgraded parts thinking they would make it better...spoiler alert, they don't This one got a complete rebuild with aftermarket parts but was never run after that
The second one I got as a roller for real cheap and figured I would build it into another truck...another spoiler alert, I never did anything with it and it's still a roller
And the third one we built from scratch to make the "ultimate maxx"...but it's never even been started

We still have all 3 because there's so much money wrapped up in them they aren't worth selling

it looked like something someone builds out of Amazon parts with zero clue of how those parts actually impact performance.

It took Traxxas a while to figure out how to use up old inventory on "new releases". They took notes from Axial and do it a lot more sneakily today lol.

Yes it was a t-maxx without reverse or 4wd and a funky looking body. They marketed it for racing back when everyone still had an MT class. It was a "monster stadium truck" and was also my first nitro

Here's what it looks like today after several rebuilds, I also added 4wd

Yup it might get a post a week. There's like 3 people who are even active on there anymore.

not really. just a mod over there that seems to have a mild political agenda and a God complex. I'm shadow banned over there. all my posts have been deleted, i can still post but it doesn't show up. i can receive PM's but can't send PM's. i was able to start a community group and invite people to talk its all rather amusing to me.
can't say I'm really missing anything. its racer dominated and i don't race. and the off topic section has gotten really boring. that's where everyone went after UltimateRC "crashed" (lol). it's just the vibes over there suck, the moderation is inconsistent and seems to rely on tattle tales. and one mod likes to push his weight around while breaking rules he punishes users for braking (he has made fun of users and given "vacations" to users for making fun of other users or him). if you're one of the elite racer types with deep pockets you can do whatever you want. if you're anywhere under that they don't seem to want you there. it's not a welcoming, inviting, or even friendly place.

that does seem to be the word on the street. i remember hearing people getting banned for making posts about looking for aftermarket parts alternatives because OEM parts kept failing. it had to be 100% traxxas praise 100% of the time. and done in a way that made Sesame Street look like an X rated horror movie. it was so bad even fanboys hated the place.

Yeah he banned me for two weeks for telling another member something along the lines that they should just sew their mouth to Traxxas butt since they love Traxxas so much.

The Traxxas forums are owned and operated directly by Traxxas and they are very strict about people talking about other brands on their forums.
