Smartech Winner Sport 1/10th scale buggy

There's only a couple of 1/10th scale buggies, Kyosho has one, and in my opinion I would look into either the Kyosho 1/10th buggy, or a full blown 1/8th. There are several 1/8ths that are ready to run and a re very good quality (moreso than the Smartech one). Check out the Hot Bodies Lightning or the Ofna Hyper 7s. I don't know if replacement parts are easy to find for the Smartech, but that is a very big factor when you get into r/c stuff. Best thing to do is check the parts at the local hobby shop and see what is readily available for what kit, then make a decision based on that.

Yea, I'm curious about the thing too. 1/10th scale buggies are quite a bit smaller then 1/8th ones, it could be a good buggy for playing around and having fun, assuming it doesn't fall apart on you.

A friend and I used to have Inferno TR-15 1/10th buggys. They was pretty fragile and prone to mechanical failure, so our fun was cut short just about everytime to be honest. Hence buying a 1/8th buggy, haven't looked back. You gets what you pay for!! It is more expensive initially, but to be honest I'm sure it's cheaper in the longrun.

2 speed tranny in a 1/10 does not seem like that will hold up well. i hope it works out for you. i would personnaly sell it on ebay and then buy a 1/8 they are alot of fun.

and i have never heard of that brand. i can't say a whole lot about your choice though because i actually have a duratrax model which most guys on here hate
