After our Saturday night race my kids came up to tell me there was 2 kittens hanging out by the track. Immediately the other parents go to yelling at their kids to leave the diseased cats alone. Myself i am a cat lover but already own two. After a short debate with myself I walked over and picked both of them up. Nothing wrong but dirty and hungry, maybe 4 weeks old at that. Some butthole obviously dumped them because they are way too friendly to be wild. A lot of us bring our children and they play between races and such. We have a picnic ground and playground next door. With tons of people of people coming there often I guess they thought it was a good place to dump them. I just cannot believe it was too much trouble for some lazy S.O.B to drive them to the nearest shelter. That's fine though I guess, they have a good home now. I got phone call today from a friend at the track, there is one more and he wants to know if I want to come get it. So one more flea bath and another mouth to feed, big deal. They are beautiful little guys I could not abandon. They may end up at a shelter, but I will do my damnedest to find them homes.
Pics of the "diseased" animals....I could not have been more ashamed that no else was willing to help them.

They are all doing great. To whomever dumped them, you'll have to answer for it one day. Not blowing my own "horn" here, just ashamed of the world today.

Rescue cats rule. I have one sleeping on my couch right now. A Persian we found wandering around our neighborhood all last winter. He's damn warm and damn happy now.

Good job man, when there old enough for homes you might put them up for adoption on Craigs list and charge a $15 rehoming fee, that way tou know they are people that really want a pet. Good to see there are still people with a heart...

I've taken in a lot of sick and abandoned little critters through the years, and I'll NEVER understand the mind of a person who can beat or abandon a little helpless bundle of warm, soft and fluffy affection.

How about some names?

Losi, Rustler, Savage and Maxx.

Yeah better put on your rubber gloves they look dangerous for sure. My cats were all adoptions and they ROCk. I agree how could you not take care of great little animals, its beyond me.

You get a star sticker for today on the RCNT calender.:celebrate3:

It's always sickened me whenever I would see or hear of someone dumping an animal on a sitcom. The thought of someone doing that to an animal... They need to have it done to them.

Kudos to you for rescuing the little fuzzballs. The jerk that dumped them will eventually answer to a higher authority.

Awesome bro, not many people today would do that. They are soooo cute! It's a shame that we can only have 1 pet here (landlord says so) or I'd offer to adopt one from you. Our little Misty (or better known as phyco kitty) would probably love a play partner.

Good job!

I grew up on a 74 acre farm, and people dropped cats off there all the time. at one point we had 13 running around. Not inside cats, but they always had a dry place to sleep, and enough mice/birds and food to go around.

I have 2 dogs, both shelter rescues. I can't stand "puppy mills" when there are so many animals at shelters that need us.I will never buy a animal, i'll always adopt one, thats what you do with a family member!!!

Sucks that people will be like that. I personally couldn't have taken them in. Even though I grew up with cats, now I'm allergic to them. An hour with a cat and I'll see you at the ER!
You're a good person Scrogg

props to you my man!! i am also a cat lover, and i have a old baseball bat with whomever dumped those cats name on it

Thanks for everyones kind words. The 3 little guys are doing great. Raising Hell right now as I speak! Both my other cats came from a shelter, I really do not have room to keep them. Neither of my other two will come in the house anymore, they are not happy about the new guys. I'm afraid they'd kill them anyways.
Rolex, great name choices but the wife and kids beat me to it. They names are Andy, Clover and Mia.
I'll try Craig's list, thanks.
