Yeah, it was Tylenol that I remember too.
Can't find anything about a Benadryl scare on Google. The Tylenol scare popped right up, and it was out of Chicago.
Me certain someone is confusing their tampering scare.

Back to the subject... as far as first aid goes, I keep an eye-flush cup on the sill in front of my kitchen sink AT ALL TIMES!
I can't count the number of times I've come stumbling into the house, half blind (and not even drinking yet) with some sort of brake clean back spray or a chunk of rust fell ONLY, ALL into my eye. I swear its a damned magnet!
When you gotta flush your eye(s), THIS is a BAD time to be fumbling around looking for one of these damned things!!! Ask me how I know...

That's one of the advantages of wearing glasses full time. I always have a bit of eye protection.
No flush cup by the sink, but we do have a sink sprayer.

I still wear my 3M "Terminator" safety glasses. Best pair of sunglasses I have EVER owned!
I tend to be "not great" at wearing safety glasses when I should be.
(usually after I start drinking) 🤣
When you need your glasses to see, you become very good at wearing them 😉

We definitely have 1st aid kits, one in the bathroom, extra stuff in the kitchen, one in the camper, a pill bottle full of bandaids in my pontoon and kayak, and one in the truck.
The wife and I fall so much that we have to keep stuff within reach. :(

Having a first aid kit is a great idea and one I've been wanting to do for a while. Everyone seems to say the pre-made kits are trash and to build your own. Then I start to go down the rabbit hole and find I'm putting together a small hospital. So then I never do anything. heh

+1

While a FAK is good to have, basic first aid knowledge is even more important.

I have a first aid kit in all our vehicles and the house. In the Landcruiser in which we used to go to remote areas, I have a more extensive kit and another with meds, creams etc. Plus a snake bite kit and a tourniquet. I'm also first responder/CPR training.

Have you considered adding bubble wrap to your daily routine, you know, to go with the helmet? 🤔

How about wearing a FAK backpack? 🤣😷

I'm starting to think there may be a market for a "band-aid" suit!
Head to toe bandages in different thicknesses and sizes to fit just about anyone's needs to contain their liquid bodies after their stupid stunts...
Now before you all go getting offended, stupid stunts can be anything from skydiving to falling out of bed. Heck, I've already done one of those things TODAY!!!

I also keep fire extiguishers around the house including 1 large unit near the kitchen, grill and garage.

You see most here are To young to remember when benis were in a pill and had micro beads in them and you could pull pills apart and the beads would go everywhere..that was before the nutjob in Chicago put cyanide in benis so they went to solids pill form
How does that explain how you gave an unconscious kid, who isnt even breathing, benadryl pills? He'd still have to be able to swallow the micro beads for it to do any good. Am I missing something here?
