First 2026 Post!

Without a doubt. Going back to keeping a running list.. This way things are wrapped up more efficiently, and I don’t end up with 40-eleven “stragglers” just out of my view, lurking in the corners, so to speak..

I used to be real good about this, and it definitely helps my “hey look, I need that!”..

I just text myself as a reminder/revolving & updateable “to do” list. Pretty simple.

This week should keep a brother pretty tied up..

Cut out chassis plates from opaque black Acrylic for vehicle wall mounts
Bend 1/8” hangers and mount to brackets
Finish details-anti-slip pads, fuel tubing, & heat shrink
Secure (8) mounts to wall (NOT (2) mini-truggy mounts)
Replace right side shelf brackets with revised brackets, and install with toggle bolts

Paint PSU case fronts black
Solder jumper wires to landings
TEST PSU’s 12.7V AND 25.4V
Fab up break-out insulators from acrylic
Heat shrink insulators, and all female bullets
Tape, and then Vinyl wrap PSU stack
Mount within SuperSecret FORGED 3D Charger stands
Fab all cables solder/milspec sheathing/heat shrink tubing/etc..

Measure, and cut out pipe hanger base from acrylic sheet
Cut pipe bosses from black delrin round bar stock
Drill & countersink base
Drill bosses
Attach bosses to base with M4 flat heads
Heat shrink around OD to fit header ID’s
Secure finished pipe hanger to front right of shelf w/3M tape, and hang all pipes (AFTER TESTING without tape)

Rearrange bench
Slot bench for PSU stack power cords
Secure power strip & tidy PSU stack cords

Modify RCMaker driver stands
Amazon Transfer Punch sets (Metric & SAE)
Design M12 drill/impact/driver caddy
Blue PT roll hanger under bench
Nitrile gloves dispenser under bench
Small trash can
Crystal Skull Vodka bottle with Tonic water
Outer Space Vodka bottle with Palmolive
Mini Toolboxes

Rebuild ALL diffs in ALL vehicles.
Build both starterboxes
Swap 500PRO2 steering servo in NB2.2 with Epic1/use 500PRO2 on T/B in B2105 NT2.2
Complete ‘Lectric swap to brushless Jammin’
Fab Titanium skids F&R for both Jammin’s, AND RC8B3.2
Spray Can (lubricants/cleaners) caddy
Transmitter storage/hangers

Clean, prep, mount, and glue ALL remaining tires (1/10 & 1/8), and balance all remaining 1/8
TEST FIT Traxxas Mini Maxx/Mini XRT body for Jammin’s
Trim, and paint ALL bodies to have ALL completed vehicles (including Jammin’ KIT bodies, not including spare 1/8 stuff)

Build PROPER wooden bench top with slab from Lowe’s

Unlock seized clutch on Ford Tractor. Dial in carb, and make sure battery is charged. Make wedge for clutch

Grade front yard flower bed boarder, and install red scalloped brick /paver/boarders
Weed-Eater to ENTIRE track, PLUS brush cutting. Get Kubota, and move dirt around/adjust grade for surplus dirt, and build jumps.
Rubberized undercoating to 10’ launch ramp(s), and move to track area.

THEN, I can go ahead and have a RELAXING, but focused build sesh on the new nitro trugg finally. Immediately after that is the new SuperSecret Ultimate 2.2 nitro buggy..

So yep-2026 is gonna be a KICKASS year for RC at the Littlemotor Shop, and Psychopants Off-Road compound.

I'm not superstitious or anything. it's bad luck. but based on the last 5 years, i refuse to vote!
i also don't make new years resolutions. every time i make plans/decree's my maker says "hold my beer", or i forget them after like Jan 2nd.
I'm just going to sit back and see how this show pans out.

This is the first 2026 rct post(at least for my people in the pnw)! What are y'all's resolutions(if you do that kind of thing), and what rc's are you planning on getting. Happy new year!

I don't do new years resolutions and don't have plans to buy another RC. I'll try and finish current projects.

I don't do resolutions, I did just count 4 lexan bodies and 1 hard body that needs painting...so I guess that's my goal for the year.

I broke down...and I have Kyosho Mad Wagon currently in route to me.
Did I need it? No.
Did I want it? Absolutely. YOLO

That's one of the kits I have waiting... I have four or five clear bodies to paint this year as well.

I'm super excited for the Mad Wagon kit. With my love of wagons, I just couldn't let it go.

Let the rc paint race begin!
If I can get through painting 2 bodies this year, I'd be happy.
