So I bought a proline body for my scx10.3 and the body post are to short an barely go through the front window to pin them. I'm if I can lengthen the body post or how I would do it.

You might be able to just install longer posts. Otherwise you might need to get creative by adding new mounting points to mount new posts to.

The link above has body posts and about 100 body post mount ideas for you to copy or mod to make work in your truck.
I didn't see a specific kit for SCX10 tho.

Those post aren't long enough.
How long are the current body mount posts?

Any chance of getting some pics of the chassis without the body?

I would consider moving the mounting locations as others mentioned. I would get 2 clips thru the hood, towards front if possible and 2 in the rear of the bed.
Spread the mounts out over the 4 corners of the chassis.
I would look for other holes in the chassis to put the body posts hardware thru. Use offset mounts like @RustyUs posted. You might need to get crafty with a piece of Kydex and make yourself a mount for the body posts.

The clips at an angle against the windshield aren't great. I would think a crash or roll over could easily cause that lexan to tear.
You want the thicker body post to be doing the support work, not so much the thin wire clip.

Having super long body posts isn't ideal either. Don't want the body flopping around with every bump you hit.

Are there flat spots on the chassis that meet the lexan anywhere? Magnets and velcro are both options for mounting bodies too.
