Well it looks like Traxxas listened to the criticism about the hole in the windshield. There is an updated body on way with the cutout in hood and roof now. Moving forward new shipments of XRT's are supposed to come with the updated body. Maybe the new versions will come with preinstalled fans!! 🤞

Is this just an aesthetic complaint?
Many people were upset when they got their mini xrt to find half of the windshield was cut out for an overheating issue. When traxxas shipped the cars to the influencers there was no hole in the windshield. so it was definitely a surprise!

Let's just say I got it from a very reliable source :cool:. You can actually go to the Traxxas website and check out the photo gallery and compare the photos.

If I owned one I would consider sending Traxxas a note to get a replacement updated body. I say this because the picture on the box and the advertising pictures need to match the product in the box. This is from a legal perspective. Die cast model car makers got in trouble for this 50 years ago.
