Problem w/ Roto Start

Got a new Hpi Evo. I primed the engine, put the roto start and glow igniter in. The roto start doesn't turn once inside at all. What should I do? It can't seem to turn counter clockwise, but it turns clockwise just fine. Can anyone help me?

I recently purchased an HPI EVO myself your problem may be the battery you are using for the roto start by the way what part of New York ya from?

your engine could be fluid locked or if its not broken in yet your sleeve and piston could be really tight i had the same prob b4 i brok in my maxx wit the EZ start
