Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendable clutch shoes for a O.S. 18tz engine? The engine sits in an HPI RS4 SS. Could you provide a link to the product for purchase? Thank you so much!

There is 2 kinds of material that the shoes are made of ,an that is a composite & aluminum.

As of where ,the best thing to do is search E-bay ,I think that most folks that replace their shoes ,do
it as needed an just find a good E-bay store like RC Boyz!
You may need to purchase the whole clutch assembly ,flywheel ,shoes & bell ,you also may want to
use a 3 shoe!....

Honestly any composite shoes would work, they provide more grip and reduce lag time, but they wear faster. If you need durability, aluminum holds pretty well. My aluminum shoes I got in my Tmaxx have lasted a year or so, just now needing some work done and I run it for about 6 or 7 hours a week.
