My LHS luckily had them. They were the last ones. They were 9mm offsets, so it would look fine with the 200mm body. Now that I think of it though, the TT01's wheels aren't 190, they're about 185. So I only have 194mm on a 200mm body, but it still looks cool. I need to get a 190mm body so it gives it that drifter look.

They are the HPI Work XSA wheels:

I thought I'd bump this thread up :D.

I'd like to show you guys my TT01 Drifter. The body right now is the RX8 like in the picture, except its not perfect now like it was in the picture.

Please excuse any black dots that you see in the picture, such as on the bumper, my camera was dirty :(.

On my rs4 i have a traxxas ez-start with only the blu eand yellow connected so i can hook the ez start up and heat up the glow plug.....
The attenna mount was bought at my LHS.

Thats the O.S. .18 CVR right? same mill i've got in my RS4 3. How do you manage to gain traction? I notice the red clutch bell. I've still got mine at stock gearing. What the gearing of yours?

stock gears besides the red clutchbell .. and I'm gonna need something a lot faster, i was thinking of removing 2 teeth from each speed on the spur side and put the diffs from the evo 18ss.. that would throw me to a potential of about 55 mph i imagine....now I'm at around stock top speed...... the 18cvr doesn't revs as fast as the 18 ss so it kills the top speed a bit... I'm trying to make up for it with the smaler gears and all that....for the traction , well it doesn't exist if i drive in in regular parking lots.... if i want to get good traction i have to go in the parking lots that have asphalt been done recently so its clean and real grippy...... i wish i had a good racing .12 into it as well , those engines seem like so much fun just because of the revs and the ridiculos speeds they get

yea i realized that the .18 is a little over kill. lol. I run on the street and traction sucks. There is just way to much low end power. I'm gonna have to go with some smaller gears i think. How does it work? Less teeth on the spur and more on the clutch bell i would think.

yes more on the cb and less on the sg = more top speed. with the .18cvrx its a must to change the gearing.

actually I'm kinda torn about it ... when i put the cvr in i had to trim quite a bit of my rear differential and carbon fiber top plate to get the mesh right.. even with the bigger clutchbell i dont have too much room left so i was wondering if putting in 2 teeth smaler sg's would be too tight... if anyone has done it before , i need advise... i dont wanna ter everything down to find out it wont fit
