i was wondering if any of you paint plastic model cars?

i'm currently making a rally mini cooper ... but the paint has bubble's a little on the side of the car..
do you know why this happens and if there's a way of taking it away?

i'm using spray cans.
also how do you paint the rim on the windows? it's hard for me to do a straight line.. and i don't wanna mess it up

Green thin masking tape

You can use paint markers for the window trim. The ones I use are Molotow brand. They sell them on Amazon.
Molotow Liquid Chrome Marker Set - 1mm, 2mm and 4mm https://a.co/d/cONNp0b

They are pricey, but refillable, and they have really great flowing tips.

As for the bubbling, typically called fisheye, that is usually caused by contamination on the surface. Best thing to do is remove the paint as best you can and start over. If it's already setup, then sand as much of it away as you can and clean the model with warm soapy water and let it air dry completely.

You need to clean the mold release off of the plastic before you paint it, just like RC bodies.
