I got the camper body at a flea market for $20. The Maxx was a mint 8S snap on edition that I got in trade. Using a cheap charger combined with the fact I had no idea at the time what I was doing, I had a battery explosion in the xmaxx one day that almost burnt my Excursion to the ground. Luckily I was standing next to my truck when it went off. l heard this big THUMP and looked over to see a floor to ceiling fireball in the back of my truck. Within a second it died down to a basketball sized fire so I ripped it out of the truck still on fire and threw it into the pond I was at playing with RC boats. Unfortunately it damaged my carpet and headliner but I don't see myself finding new ones for an Excursion anytime soon. The body was destroyed but there was very minimal damage to the RC in the end somehow.
This experience (plus weed) is the reason I won't mess with nitro, etc. Imagine the stoopit, dangerous poop I could do with all that in the back of my truck.
Here's a pic of it after I fished it outta the pond. I still keep the body around as a reminder.

I love those decals! I just added the skull. It was a nice action figure until it fell on the floor an exploded into pieces . Part is parts.

Shame on the body, but glad both trucks survived. You got some good details on the rv.

If you saw it up close it's beat all to hell and held together with hot glue, epoxy and screws. I salvaged the grill and headlights out of the snap on body and I would like to rework the headlight and taillight areas eventually. I'm still looking for a lighted disco ball for the interior .

My ram body for my 10m2 is the same. I'm about to wrap it and have a new body again.

Nice! I hadn't thought of checking out dollhouse stuff. It's almost always 1/12 scale but definitely worth checking out.
