just installed the cvx in my ss, no problems at all (except flywheel being stubborn, easily fixed).

when i first start my car, it idles fine, but after a minute or so, the car starts to slowly creep forward.... is it because my clutch is engaging early? if so, i heard the solution is to turn the screw inside the transmission... how many turns should it be? is there anything else i should check/fix?

also, i have to open the throttle a little less than 1/4 of the way open to get it started, but that makes my engine idle too fast and the car wants to drive off, but if i close it up a bit, to where the car wont move by itself, the engine cuts off after a minute or so... i'm lost one this one....

it makes sense to me that these two problems are caused by the same thing, just hope i can get a solution... thanks for the help.

It sounds like you have your idle set too high, or the lsn may possibly be too lean. You should have about a 1mm openening in the barrel when you are at idle.

engine is still at factory specs, havent touched a thing except needle, it's 2 full 360 degree rotations open, is that correct?

2 turns out on the HSN is stock. Still sounds like your idle is too high. If it's too high, it will cause the clutch to engage at idle and the car will roll. Start it and let it warm up for a minute. Then turn the idle down just enough so the car doesn't roll. It should still be fine.

thanks, i'm just so worried that i'm going to fry my new engine because it's so fragile and brand new... i started it a few times last night, havent driven it yet tho, I'm running it rich, and between start-ups i always run a couple drops of after run oil through it. can't wait to get home today and finish the break in process and get it on the road.

I just got a .15CV-R(X) myself. I'm running it on a RS4 3.

I broke my engine in following the heat cycle procedures. After that I asked for help for the needle settings. "Nitroaddict" told me to set the HSN to 1-3/5 out and the LSN 1-1/2 out. I did that and the engine is very responsive and very fast. As you begin to lean out the LSN your idle will increase, simply decrease the idle set screw. Hope this helps.

And Nitroaddict, if you read this, thanks! My engine rocks!
