Which car is a better rally the Traxxas ford fiesta or a CenRacing Rally car what are the benefits of having one over the other?

Tough one to answer simply because I don't have either but some might say the Traxxas and some might say the CenRacing rig.
If there is any chance of trying each one then you can make the decision.

Yeah right now I have a Traxxas ford fiesta but the stuff I do for YouTube isn’t really durable enough for the stuff I do with it I’ve heard good things about the CenRacing rigs I drove one of their trucks and they were really durable never ran one of their rally’s.

The CenRacing one looks to me more race oriented with the aluminum chassis, M1 gears, and from the pictures the suspension tuning looks to be slightly more intuitive and even provides some geometry adjustability. With a 3000kv motor it will make a bit more power also. I'm not sure what part availability is like but it wont be anywear near as available as traxxas parts.

The traxxas is all plastic, still offers some suspension tuning options but nor to the level of the Cen. I wouldn't say its going to be more durable (although traxxas are tough as hell) but replacement parts would more likely be cheaper and more available.

If you truly want to race some club rally races I would go with the Cen. If you dont intend to race and you're looking more for general fun, speed runs, and backyard bashing then definitely the traxxas.

Both kits look super sweet though!

Yeah I have a Traxxas ford fiesta and I do rally events and skatepark stunts and I’ve broken at least ten plastic camber links

Like I said I've never owned a Cen and dont know much about the company, but what would keep me from buying is part availability and continuation. Traxxas tends to keep their releases out for long periods of times and most hobby shops have a lot of it on hand.

Would hate to have the cen break and have to wait for backordered parts to arrive or the possibility of discontinuation.

I'm sure someone with brand experience will chime in here soon though.

lol I have a trx-4 a trx-4m a rustler vxl a 4tec vxl a axial Scx10 and axial wraith a latrax prerunner theirs always room for more you can’t stop at one that’s for sure

Yea I agree with @Beer_Goggles_RC

Cen stuff is pretty good stuff. Could be a pretty nice upgrade compared to the traxxas. But, getting parts would be just slightly harder, most shops most likely won't stock them. Cen is a lesser known brand but good quality stuff. But id imagine ordering parts online, if needed, is just simple and easy as other brands.

If you feel good with the traxxas right now, by all means, you can stick with it.
The plastic links breaking, deff a known weak spot. Id upgrade to the steel ones, I'm pretty sure traxxas makes them for the rally, or maybe slash turnbuckles could fit, not sure. Don't know the 4x4 platform as well as I know the 2wd platform.

The Traxxas rally is quite literally a slash 4x4. For general bashing, it’s kind of a no brainer for the parts support and aftermarket support. Not to mention it’s a proven platform that’s been out for over a decade. Electronics are your typical Traxxas affair… might last you 5 years of extreme bashing. They could also burn up in the first week. The car itself is solid though and I’d even recommend finding a used slider/roller on eBay and throwing a HobbyWing system it vs buying brand new to save some money.

The CEN is more scale focused with lots of details. Has a more robust drivetrain (not that the Traxxas has a weak one) and better electronics. Parts will be harder to find, aftermarket parts will be limited in comparison, etc.

One isn’t particularly “better” than the other. I’d balance the pros and cons of both and decide what’s going to work better for you.

I would say the Traxxas for me since hobby shops have parts locally. No one carries CEN. But that's just my opinion. Waiting days for parts might not be an issue for you
