ok, in my rotostart the MOTOR shaft has snapped. i need a replacment shaft. REALLY REALLY BAD!!!!! if you have any links or an old motor from one or any kind of fix dont hesitate to post!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks in advance!!

Do you mean the shaft inside the actual electric motor that powers the thing or the shaft that inserts into the mill?

How bout you open your Manual, Find the part number of the poop that busted and go and order it like the rest of us?

Well this clown comes in here weekly asking for handouts. Any normal person without Farts for brains would have relized its not gonna work by now.

its the shaft sticking out of the motor

and when i bought it off of a guy, it didnt come with a manual so I'm screwed there also.

Hey andy since your in a good mood....what about my atomic sticker? :D
lol.. I was just thinking about that. Ill get a crackin on it. Ill have to vectorize it, cuz I wouldnt find the logo.

ok thank you vb ill give it a shot

well, tower hobbies dont have it and rc documents.com dont have the manual

If you go to the manufacturers site they will probably have an exploded view of all the parts on the truck. next to that just call whoever made the thing and ask someone.

yeah, they have the motor but not the shaft in it seperate, thats what I'm looking for. The motor is like 29 and the whole thing is like 33.

aj, have you ever taken an electricmtor apart? I sincerely doubt you will take apart this motor and replace the shaft. On cheaper motors such as used in the rotor start, it might not be replaceable. It's cheaper for them to make it a throw away part in total.

Chances are that you should just go ahead and spring for the whole kit bud. You might open this thing up and find out that another peice being broken caused the shaft to snap or something.

It is allways better to have spares than to have to ask someone for them.

well, i already took it apart and it is fine except where it broke at the end where the gear is secured on with a screw. Thats why i asked you guys frist because i no you guys ALWAYS have old parts and stuff, and if one of you had an old motor from one thats does not work, that i would buy it off of you.

This happened to my roto start also... What I did was just install a old motor I have laying around. At that time I didnt know nothing about turns and winds but to this day it will turn over my savage.

I have the old rotostart plate from my T-Maxx laying in the pit box, don't know if it will work for what you are asking...

It is just the black plastic casing with three gears and the small electric motor on it...

i dont no, the motor in the black case it uhge on this thing, but i dont no if it will work, pm me some pics if you can, thanks in advance.

Camera still is down. We fnally got it back and now we have to find the darn USB cable to go with it. Will post pics at a later date if i can
