Jose,

I'm new to this forum and this caught my eye. How did you obtain this "estimate"? I have quite a few nitros (including an OFNA Hyper 7) and the dollar amount you are stating is 90% of the buggy's parts. I just want to make sure you did not take it to your LHS and they gave you this "estimate". Can you line-item each of the parts that are broken?

Thanks!

Oh man there wasn't anything left. Rear diffs and wing mount. At that time they wanted $98 for just the chassis.

I didnt pay that though. My lhs was able to get ofna to replace all the parts.
And even then i still had to replace the servos with futaba and transmitter (spektrum)

Dang. I have had some REALLY bad crashes, but never had damage like that. Glad they replaced everything for ya.

Yeah it was the fact that i was breaking the motor in on an open parking lot.
When it took off it had alot of room to build up speed.
Hit a building wall at full speed. After putting it back together i put futaba servos and spectrum radio.
And a return spring. Never ran away from me since.

What Spektrum radio are you using? I have a 3C and a 3R (love them both). Also, are you using a hump pack or AA's?

I have the dx3c and i love it. I was using AAs but just got way to expensive. So i got hump packs.
