There's a Mugen MBX8T eco for sale at the equivalent of $280 some 30 mins from my place. Guy needs to let go of some of his electric rides, one of them is this thing.

I'm surprised that this thing flew under the radar for this long since the older, non R MBX8 platform still seems fantastic for racing today (and bashing too, but tbf most 8th scale *uggies are built like tanks, with *some* exceptions). If I recall most 8R parts fit on the 8 *uggies too but do correct me if I'm wrong.

No obvious signs of abuse, drivetrain wear on the outside looks almost minimal, some bits and bobs have been replaced with their CF equivalent but I can ask if the stock parts are still available.

Thinking of checking this thing out in person next week, would you do it? Anything else I should be paying attention to?

small update: will check it out in person this week, owner will knock 10 dollars off the original asking price and will throw in a cut but unpainted body
does anyone know which body the unpainted one is? looks like the stock MBX7TR body but with some differences
