Post your favorite recipies here. anything goes as long as its good!:D

One of my favorite recipes: ( I let it slow cook after prep almost all day. then to the fridge over night and back to the crock pot the next day.)
Soileau's Chili:
* 5-7 quart pot
* 2 lbs. 80/20 lean ground beef
* 1 large onion, chopped
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* Entire package Soileau’s Chili Seasoning
* 2 8oz. cans tomato sauce
* 16 oz. water (add more if needed)
* 1 can cooked black beans, or beans of your choice (optional)
* 2 Tbsp. olive oil
* 2 Tbsp. butter

Melt butter in olive oil over low-med. heat. Add onions and sauté for about 3 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute more. Remove onions and garlic, set aside. Next, fry meat until just browned. Drain grease from meat. Turn heat to low and return meat, onions and garlic to pot. Thoroughly stir in entire package of chili seasoning. Add tomato sauce, water and beans. Return heat to medium and let chili simmer for 20-30 minutes. Add water if needed. Makes gallon.

For hot dog chili just leave out the beans!

The chili can also be made by frying meat, onions and garlic together, omitting the olive oil and butter then following the rest of the directions as written. This is a little quicker and tastes just as great. When you sauté the onion and garlic beforehand, though, it lends a slightly sweeter richness to the chili.

Mushroom and onion steak topper: (i have also used this on chicken)

1 small or 1/2 large onion diced
1 can sliced mushrooms in juice
2 tbs butter
healthy dose of "cavenders greek seasoning"
splash of liquid smoke.

put onion and butter in sauce pan and cook on med-high to high until onions start to turn clear stirring frequently. Add the rest of the stuff including the juice in the mushroom can. season to taste with cavendars (i like a lot) and add a dash or two of liquid smoke. reduce heat and simmer until liquid evaporates and onions are clear.

cook steak to your liking. Top with topping. enjoy.

Might sound dumb but its hella good. Cup o Noodles, heavy dose of soy sauce, finely chopped cilantro and a little garlic.

Beason's easy breazy banana pudding.

need:
1 large box instant vanilla pudding
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
1 cup water
1 small can sweetened condensed milk (4oz?)
2-3 bananas
1 box nilla waffers
1 tub whipped cream
lemon juice

start by taking whipped cream out of freezer if you have it frozen. set it out the thaw.

Put all pudding mix into large bowl, add 1 cup water, and can of sweetened condensed milk. Stirr until blended completely. place bowl in fridge to chill.

Cut 3 bananas into slices and place in bowl with lemon juice. you dont have to cover them, but stir them up so the lemon juice gets on all of it.

take pudding out of fridge and dump whipped cream into it. stir until blended completely (may need power blender for this)

get med sized caserol dish or other serving bowl. 4x8 3 or 4 in deep should be good.
add layer of nilla waffers to bottom of bowl and up sides. add layer of banana slices to bottom.(strain off lemon juice with your fingers) pour in pudding mix to cover 1 cookie width up sides of bowl. repeat with layer of cookies and bananas on bottom then more pudding until you run out of pudding. finish with bananas first then cookies on top. cover and let sit for a few hours before serving.

Just curious, is the lemon juice for flavor or to preserve the bananas?

I love that stuff, but there's no way I'd be able to scarf down that much before most of it went bad.

SweetD's Late Night Munchies for Insomniacs

Half bag of Ore Ida criss cut frozen fries
Cup of grated cheese your choice
Sour Cream
1 Can of Hormel Hot Chili No beans

Bake the fries according to directions. Heat up chili while the fries bake. When fries are done, throw them in a large bowl. Top with chili, cheese, and sour cream. Caution: will cause instant food coma. :hehe:

SweetD's EZ Slow Cooked Pork Ribs

1 Slab of Baby Back Pork Ribs
Your favorite dry rub-I usually just keep it simple, garlic, salt and lots of fresh cracked pepper

Preheat oven to 225 degrees.

Remove membrane from back of ribs. Apply dry rub to both sides of ribs and then wrap them tightly in foil. Place on a pan and cook in oven for 3.5 to 4 hours, meat side down. Remove ribs from oven and turn up the broiler to 500 degrees. Remove ribs from foil and drain the liquid.

If you prefer BBQ sauce now is the time to put it on. Dry or sauced, put the ribs back in for 5 minutes per side about 6 inches from the broiler. Be careful when flipping as the meat will fall off the bone! :D

The lemon juice is used to help keep the banana from discoloring.

one half glass cpt. Morgan rum, half glass coke, add ice. Serve
LMAO!!!
Mine would be: 1/2 glass of Canadian Mist, 1/2 glass of coke, 1 cube of ice.
At my age I like it a little simpler....

Coors original, open, enjoy. Repeat as needed. :D

I'll take a pork loin, put a nice rub on it, and back in the fridge overnight.
Next day inject it with apple juice and smoke it till it gets the right temp. (160, I think.)
Pull that apart, add apple juice, a small dab of vinegar and KC masterpiece BBQ sauce.

Want quick and easy?
Spread some Tostitos on a plate, spoon on your favorite salsa and some shredded cheese. Microwave until the cheese melts.

And a pack of croissants (sp?)...
Spread some pepperoni on them and roll them up....
Ham and cheese, hot dogs? It's all good.

Keep em coming.
Damn, I'm hungry......

its actually for both. it keeps the bananas from turning brown as fast, and gives it a little tart kick.

you would be surprised how fast it goes, but be sure you have a class of milk. its very rich.
Its really simple to make, and goes over great at work pot lucks, bbq's and get togethers.

Digger, I thought you just raided the still. That's even easier than popping the top of that Coors can.

ImBroken's Marinade

A delicious blend of brown sugar, Soy sauce and sweet pineapple to make your next BBQ a huge hit....

Large jar of Soy Sauce
1 ¼ cup of Pineapple juice
¾ tsp of Ginger
1 tsp minced Garlic
½ tsp of Onion Powder
1 lb box of Dark Brown Sugar
3 tbs of Gravy Master

Heat Soy sauce and melt in Brown sugar. Once liquefied, add all other ingredients. Stir on low for 5 minutes and remove from heat. Pour into containers. Freeze what you don’t use for future.. Let cool before marinating meat in it.
Let meat sit overnight, flipping once, for best results..
Enjoy..

ImBroken's Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

1 (2 pound) pork tenderloin
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle root beer
1 (18 ounce) bottle your favorite barbecue sauce (I use Sweet Baby Rays sweet & Spicy)
8 hamburger buns, split and lightly toasted
1 tbls of dry onion flake

Poke holes in the pork and season with salt & pepper.. Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker, pour the root beer over the meat, almost covering it. Cover and cook on low until the pork shreds easily, 6 to 7 hours. Drain well and shred tenderloin with a fork... Stir in barbecue sauce and return to crock pot on low for another 20 minutes. Serve over hamburger buns with a good coleslaw. Makes about 6 good size servings..

This thread died quick..

I had some stuffed mushrooms last night at the neighbors. I tell you guys, it was heaven in my mouth. As soon as i get the recipe I will post it up here!

They were stuffed with cream cheese, and had some jalapenos in there, and were wrapped in bacon and cooked on the grill. The secret was some type of liquid seasoning the mushrooms were soaked in.

Both End Burner Hot Sauce!

For the guys who love to cry when they eat food:

5 Roma or 5 Vine Tomatoes
4 Jalapeno Peppers
1 Habanero Peppers
2 Serrano Peppers
2 Onions
1 Tsp Sugar
2-3 Tbsp Sea Salt or any ole salt (To Taste)
5-7 Lengths Celantro
Minced Garlic (To Taste) I use 2 Tbsp
---- Here We Go-----
Start off by cutting ends off your peppers & onions. 10"+ Round frying pan heated @ med-med hi heat. Cut the onions into 1/4s, the tomatoes and the peppers in half and throw them in with either butter or olive oil. Cook until semi soft and throw them into a blender with your sugar. Next either puree or blend to chunk all cooked items then after all is said start salting to taste & garlic it as well. After desired taste of salt and garlic is added, use scissors to cut up your cilantro and add and lightly blend in. let cool to luke warm or chill & serve with chips! ENJOY

WARNING: THIS WILL BURN BOTH HOLES FOR DAYS SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A TOILET HANDY @ ALL TIMES @ THE WORK PLACE AS WELL AS HOME!

What kind of tool sits in line for 7 hours for anything?

The In N Out in Napa does get very busy at dinner time no matter what day of the week it is. They can't make those little grease muffins fast enough and it's been here for 4 or 5 years now.

In N Out is awesome! Is it worth waiting 7 hours? Hell no! I don't think any food is worth that wait!
