Good afternoon to all-
Well, Folks, I've not been flying today- pretty much too windy, but more than that, much, much too snowy. We've got six inches or so on the ground and more coming down-hard. Very unusual for us here on the Gulf Coast , but heck, climate change isn't really real. or so some politicians would have us believe. But put all that to one side-

Have any of you Fellers ever flown in the snow? How did it go? any problems? I don't believe I would fly in snow like this today- very easy to lose sight of the little flier and that would be that.

you all be safe and keep well- Ed

I KNEW IT!!! 🥶 That cold is just brutal!
My r/c experience in the cold is that everything is more brittle and prone to breakage.
No idea if there are scale wing deicers though. 🤔

I have flown in the rain, and the fog but not in the snow. If the wind is calm and you keep your batteries warm before you fly (I used to keep them in my pockets) there should be no harm. I have seen RC planes with skis. Just keep your transmitter dry.
