Some places have regulated against excess noise that most nitro and gas are capable of. Where I live , You can't run them after dusk. I can run any of my electrics whenever I want.

I was watching. He had put the batteries in and strapped them down. When he switched it on the esc flared.and started smoking. Then the batteries must have shorted because it went foom. Instant smoke screen. I grabbed it by the wing and got it out of the house. Then I hit it with the fire extinguisher.
I am sad for him.

If you store them in an old metal ammo can, they'll just make a "WHUMP!!!!" sound and your bed will get nice and toasty...
