New truck sugestions?

What would be a good 4wd truck to run in deep sand? under $250

Deep sand? Nothing's good in deep sand. Well, deep sand isn't good for the trucks, anyway.
If you're looking for a beater to dune with, consider the HPI NRS4 MT2. 4WD. Decent ground clearance. Easy maintenance. Affordable. But if you're going to run in sand, you'll probably need to get better tires. Paddles would be best or something with long pins. And you will have to tear it apart after every run to make sure there is no sand in the bearings, joints or engine.

yeah i know. but being over in the desert doesn't give me to many track options. lol

Well, the big thing is just to keep an eye on where you get sand. It's a bit insidious and can get in the tiniest places. I do think the MT2 would be good. Again, just pick a nice aftermarket tire that will bite into the sand a bit better.

I'd get a 2wd stadium truck actually. in my experience they are actually more fun in the dunes just because all the power goes to the rear wheels rather than all 4. plus it won't get as dirty because all the sand is shooting out from behind it.
