A great day of bashing

Son and I went out to my grandmother's property (180 acres, lots of woods and open spaces).

Had an excellent day of jumping off the sides of the mountains and down the hills! More Than a few crashes, one or two that were ended by large rocks or trees!

I've been impressed with how well the XRTs have held up! I lost my wing (no plastic broke, just the screws) and the screws holding my ESC plate down busted out. Other than that no damage after flying full speed into so many inanimate objects!

My sons only "repair" is a tire that needs glued back to the rim. Again, such an easy fix!

Love being able to bash and not need to repair at the end of the day!

I need to get my XRT out more. I’ve ran it once in the past 2 months. Broke it, fixed it, and now it’s back sitting. Glad you had a good time! I forget what bashing is like sometimes until I actually get to it!

I have realized that I don't have an inventory of extra screws for the XRT. Had to go on Amazon and order a 1000pcs assortment for $10. Probably 40% of that is actually useful for the XRT, but it should be plenty of extras

My son also used his DJI drone to record video of our trucks. Hes teaching himself AfterEffects for editing, so I'm curious to see what he does with our clips!!

I did not buy stainless screws. My OCD dictated that I buy black screws to match all the other black screws on the XRT. If I install one stainless screw, every screw that I can see is going to be swapped out to avoid any nasty mind games OCD is what makes for a great engineer LOL!
