New Radio! RadioLink RC8X

Taking a few words from my uncle. Spend money on something quality and it will last you a long time. He has had his 7px for almost 8 yrs now. On the flip side you could theoretically spend money on something cheap like radiolink and having to replace it sooner or later. One guy on the Tube does speed runs with his rc8x. He said to me he constantly replaces the receivers. I imagine that I'll probably still be using my current setups for at least the next 5 years, or until I am needing a upgrade.

My uncle says I'll probably move up with Futaba too. He went from a older Magnum radio to a 4pls to a 7px. When I need too I'll upgrade to the 4pm plus. I could actually just keep my 3pv so if I get my friend more into RC I got a radio for him. Lol

Futaba was my go to brand since day one. I strayed with the Spektrum into "not good grade" and I regret it.
Futabas WERE always solid radios. The ONLY complaints ppl seem to have consistently today is price. Otherwise it seems like ppl still love them. 👍🏻
Since I won't be using a computer for tuning, I REALLY want to give the MT12 a go.
It has a lot of the functions built into the radio that I will loose by not going whole-hog on a full race esc.
I hope its not too in depth for me.
I AM going to try it though. 👍🏻

I am cleaning off 2 tables plus of r/c chaos today.
A lot of boxes and stuff unpacked needs to go away again until I have more space.
I need a table top tool holder too.
Bearings and screws and tires EVERYWHERE!!! 🤣🤣🤣

I think there was awhile ago but i haven't checked back in a few months i might revise the listing when it expires soon with new photos and i might drop the price down to $150 since i only need enough money for my next couple of Spektrum receivers. I haven't been doing RC stuff recently since it's been cold and i don't feel comfortable driving the Felony out in it especially with a iffy steering servo. I might wait until after Christmas and my birthday since there a little more than 3 weeks apart and see what i get for both Christmas and Birthday. Happy holidays all my good friends.

Thanks for the kind words hopefully this years Christmas and my next birthday will be great. Although i might not get many RC things since our budget will be low since my Grandparents moved in and other things we got this year.
 
All I can say is be an informed shopper. Read/watch reviews of any product that you plan to purchase.

Hopefully, your insight will be found by someone who is looking at Radiolink products for their next purchase.

It's like what some say there's many people who fall for the cheap Chinesium trash everytime cus it's cheaper than an actually reputable product like how my boy @DavidB1126 he got an NB4+ and how i went with DX6C which i might evolve into an iXSR sometime next year.
