Its an rtr option. Seems logical for that class to start.I watched the AMain video earlier and they said it was the same geometry as the 22 buggy but that's clearly not the case. Strut towers look more upright in oval/drag style, completely different chassis plate with battery relocated and electronics relocated. Can't remember if servo mount is the same or different. Very cool kit. I am very interested in picking one up but the custom works, gfrp, ghost chassis, etc. are very popular in my area so I don't know if this will open up any racing options for me.
You might gain something with parts from both bodies.
I don't buy much of anything from them. No worries.Maybe but be prepared to replace bodies after like a race day or something. 2 of my buggy PL bodies cracked when painting.
I'm having a field day watching all these clueless influencer reviews...amain included. These guys know nothing about oval racing. Losi typically knows the niche and gets the new vehicles in the hands of the right niche influencers during the first round. Now they just toss them out to anybody who gets views. "now look at this AMAZING body mount solution! you can detach the body with the press of a button!" ...nevermind all the oval specific components that make this something actually worthwhile.I watched the AMain video earlier and they said it was the same geometry as the 22 buggy but that's clearly not the case.
Yeah I saw DORC channel get one and he was taking it off ramps in his backyard. He did take it to an oval track but ended the video saying "should I add a bunch of power and see how well it bashes?!?!" No. Not the car for that. Plenty of bashers to bash.I'm having a field day watching all these clueless influencer reviews...amain included. These guys know nothing about oval racing. The car will be a pretty good test of youtube reviewers I guess!Yeah I saw DORC channel get one and he was taking it off ramps in his backyard. I just thought it was really odd that he is a YouTube reviewer and I usually like his stuff because he takes them apart and it's good stuff. But, you have an oval race car, you have an oval race track, why wouldn't you take it to an oval race night and see how it does, see how the regulars like it? Instead he spent half the video with a slow 2wd sprint car barely making it off tiny ramps in the backyard. People can do whatever they want with their stuff but given the opportunity to try this thing where it is intended and to take it off ramps in the backyard instead is just bonkers. LolThe car will be a pretty good test of youtube reviewers I guess!
Ppl ramping this car should be permanently banned from further rc reviews.
I don't suppose there are any videos of him trying to drift the promoto or trying to fly a monster truck like a drone?![]()
The review is pointless if its not testing the product for what it was designed to do.
I made a video of me trying to take my toaster off jumps. Wanna see it?
I don't care if a new drift car survives a 7 foot jump, you know?![]()
I feel like we might see this one for sale on ebay soon... Gently used Losi Sprint. Great car but my XMAXX just handles the big ramps better.

He did take the car apart and it has a lot of great features for oval racing. The suspension has the correct toe geometry in the rear for example. It was driving me nuts when he kept turning right when he was driving it on the street.I feel like we might see this one for sale on ebay soon... Gently used Losi Sprint. Did the review mention how they needed to adjust the steering out of the box just to make it go straight?![]()

Wondering if it tends to go left? As in a hang-it-all-out and turn-left dirt track. Is it a steering adjust or a chassis set-up stock-out-of-the-box for dirt track racing? -ACI feel like we might see this one for sale on ebay soon... Gently used Losi Sprint. For oval racing you you tune the car for the corner. It's all about maintaining as much speed in the corners as possible. So this means offset changes to the front and rear, left rear toe-in, right rear toe-out, front tow can be adjusted for the corner too. Depending on the track banking some chassis don't even need steering input to make the corner and then you turn to the right to go down the straight. If you watch real life dirt oval cars they crabwalk going straight.Wondering if it tends to go left? As in a hang-it-all-out and turn-left dirt track.
