under load. in a corner. where you're, at least in theory, trying to maximize contact patch in a consistent manor. ? make that make sense.
Flex bro… It’s a fact. I even been cutting internal ribbing in our 1/8 stuff for literally DECADES now for track conditions to MAINTAIN contact patch.. Like trying to explain “loose is fast” to an Arrma guy shoving spacers in every possible spot on his vehicle to reduce “slop” while he’s bashing…🙄🤷🏻‍♂️

Take a brand new build to the dirt. Compare that to AFTER the chassis/suspension, and driveline have loosened up.. It is literally night and day. Same thing with the wheel flex. These are not formula 1 cars on flawless asphalt.. 😉

fixed it for you :hehe:
never understood shimming slop. had a friend do that to a FF01 back in high school. handled/drove liked ass after that. i remember it getting super darty and not tracking straight.

last time i bothered to pay any attention to tuning the theory was make the chassis as stiff as possible and make the suspension do all the work. then i remember the TC guys leaving screws loose and i was like "done". don't remember the off road guys doing that... granted i haven't paid any attention to off road race tuning sense the XXXT was a hot commodity and never paid attention to 1/8 scale.

It’s a TEKNO….😘🤣
Unbelievable…. Messing with me this entire time. 😆
I have been wanting a nitro Truggy for a long time and haven’t had the cheddah cheese when they pop up.
