New Axial Wraith

Here is the finished product. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. The only issue I had was with the decals on the hood, they were cut in three sections and were meant to be used with the lexan hood. I made a little modification to the decals, it doesn't wrap the entire hood now, but it allows me to show off the aluminum.

The camera makes the decals look purple. They are not purple.

Well, I knew my need for alloy would come sooner or later. I have on order a box load of aluminum products from STRC... Aluminum rear lockouts, c-hubs, steering knuckles, 4 link mounts and upper links. Along with a set of axial high clearance lower links and some new proline powerstroke shocks. I gotta start saving up some money for the new ride I have on back order... 2012 scx10 Rubicon! I think I've been bitten by the crawler bug. :D

Looking good bro, those skins are sweet.

The dig unit for the Wraith allows for the rear to be locked and the two front wheels to "freewheel".
Unfortunately the dig unit is not capable of running with the front locked and rear "free" because of the configuration of the motor to the transmission. It wont allow you to use only the front wheels to crawl up like a dig unit on a M.O.A rig. Not to be nitpicky or anything, Id hate to see someone spend that $100 thinking theyre getting something theyre not.
