Need Oldtimer help

My Mom and Dad were cleaning up there house and found an old elec RC that I bought back in in '98. Needless to say they sent it to me just to get it out of the house. It is an HPI RS4 sport. It has some rust on the dog bones and tie rods, the shocks are stiff as hell and the old Novac "roster" ESC is the size of a laptop computer. Also when this thing came out I think that carbon fiber was still classified by the CIA . What do you think about rebuilding it back to race trim? Or should I just scrap it?

Buy some cheap batteries and jam it! Probably won't win any races with it. 11 years is light years in the rc world. I know because I'm stuck in '98! Is your rooster "super"?

The RS4's main drawback is the belt drive system. However, the chassis is top notch. Get a cheap Traxxas RX and TX that someone took out to go Brushless and install that. It will rock!
