I jus got my self a traxxas stampede 2wd electric 3605

yet a bit upset that my battery life doesn't last longer than 20mins

It has the stock titan motor 12T

Was can I do or buy , to make it last longer??

Type of batteries??
Gears?

Plz let me know thanks

Going to need more information. What type of battery, how many cells, are you running flat out all the time?

I don't know the pede but if its a lipo ya bump up the mah. I run 4000 and 5800 and get 30 to 40 mi. Or so.

Any higher mAH pack will give you a longer run time. The more mAH capacity the longer your run time will be.

Best bet is to upgrade to something with a little more storage (mah). I run a Traxxas 2s Lipo 5000mah in my slash and it lasts about 25 at almost always full throttle, and about 30mins otherwise. Also avoid grass if you can. It will drain your battery quickly and over heat your engine.

you need a lipo charger. the little cord plugs into a "circiut board" (at least on my charger)
3hrs sounds too long! My 5000 only takes about 1hour. make sure to balance charge as much as you can!

O well that's y then, I don't have a lipo charger,

A guy around my area sell items for rc trucks he said my stock charger would work good

And that "circuit board" wire does it connect to my pede?

Cuz it doesn't have that connection around the pede

You do realise what could of happened not charging a lipo correctly.
The small wire is a balancing wire used for charging/discharging on the charger.
I would pay that guy a visit.

Yea I understand now, after something like that happened,

I jus took that sellers word for it, yet now I know

Again the balancing wire doesn't connect to the pede?

no the balance wire is for the charger. Or if you have an alarm to plug in when running the pack in your car.
Your esc doesn't have an LVD (low voltage device) I don't think. So you would need to use something like an alarm to tell when the cells go low.

No the small wire does not get hooked up to your truck, it only gets hooked up to your charger if it has a balance tap on it. It can also be hooked up to a separate external balancer while being charger by a lipo battery charger.

They also carrie several lipo chargers at reasonable prices
