Okay, I am lost for lost when I browse for a new brushless setup for the EXO Terra Buggy I have coming, my question is this:

Which brushless combo has real low throttle response like that of a crawler setup, but isnt too much power and wont drain my NiMH packs as fast?

Yes, I am running NiMH because I am not Lipo fancy anymore due to bad luck.

Any suggestions that will keep me under $275

Thanks guys :D

If you're wanting to stay budget Id go with this ESC:
http://www.hobbypartz.com/07e-c-xerun-150a-sd.html

This Motor:
http://www.ckhobby.com/shop/?controller=product&path=13_108&product_id=362

and with the left over money Id pick up:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...lightmax_5000mAh_4S1P_45C_USA_Warehouse_.html

and if you dont have one already Id pick up one of these two as well depending on if you need a charger that runs off of AC or DC:

OR
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...O6_50W_5A_Balancer_Charger_w_accessories.html

That would get you started until you could get a better charger. The rest of that stuff wont really need any upgrading if you're just bashing it :)

Gonna have to go with a 1/10th scale combo. I'd say 60 amp ez run/3000kv motor and gear it low. Anything hotter will probably cog pretty bad. Unless you go with some $60 a piece Intellect packs. Which is just silly with how cheap lipos are these days. Any nimhs will have amp delivery problems once you hit a certain point. How come your so scared of lipos? You'll never touch the exos potential with nimhs....

I like to go overkill on my ESC so I make sure I dont burn them up. I would at least get a 80A ezrun esc if not the 120 or the 150. The price difference between the 120 and the 150 is only about 10 or 15 bucks. The 80A is cheaper and would probably work though if you were really wanting to try to save some more money to put toward a good charger.

^^Got the Velineon system by traxxas, I know they are good and this time when I dive my rig into another water canal, I'm safe on that part lol.
